UMBILICAL HERNIA
When a portion of the intestine protrudes out through a tear in the navel or the Umbilicus , it is known as UMBILICAL HERNIA.
CAUSES:
when a gap in the abdominal muscle that permits the umbilical cord to pass through does not completely close, an umbilical hernia develops. In adults an umbilical hernia develops when the area of the navel that is weak is exposed to a lot of stress. Possible reasons include
